Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised a syndicate of banks and institutional investors on the €213 million refinancing of the 49.5 MW Manchasol-2 solar thermal power plant. The plant is owned by Saeta Yield S.A. (“Saeta Yield”) and is located in Alcázar de San Juan, Ciudad Real.
Madrid-based Saeta Yield manages a portfolio of 936.5 MW of wind, photovoltaic and solar thermal assets in Spain, as well as 95 MW and 144 MW of wind assets in Uruguay and Portugal, respectively.
The WFW team that advised on the operation was led by the financial area partner, Rodrigo Berasategui, with the collaboration of senior associate Jacobo Hermidas and associates Antón Ramil and Arancha Ruesta.
